Oxford and Cambridge university offers

We are delighted to inform you that four London Academy sixth form students have received offers from Oxford and Cambridge universities. We are exceptionally proud of the students and these offers are testament to the hard work and dedication they have shown throughout their time with us. In addition to their academic brilliance, all four students have demonstrated the resilience required to be successful in an Oxbridge interview, one of the most competitive selection processes in the world.

We would like to personally congratulate the following students:

Nicole Cacchione has been offered a place to study Architecture at Queens’ College, Cambridge
Theo Achampong has been offered a place to study Economics and Management at Hertford College, Oxford
Halima Doski has been offered a place to study Chemistry at University College, Oxford
Erika Gristena has been offered a place to study Classical Archaeology and Ancient History at Exeter College, Oxford

This year, 12 students were selected for interview at either Oxford or Cambridge university. We are extremely proud of every student who applied and prepared for the interview process. Oxbridge interviews are demanding and rigorous and it is a remarkable achievement to have had such a significant number of students participate. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Williamson and the Sixth Form team who worked tirelessly to prepare students for their interviews and guide them through the application process.

The next few months are vitally important for all Year 13 students as they embark upon preparing for their final examinations in the summer. Staff at the academy are working exceptionally hard to prepare students for their examinations and help them secure offers from universities.

We wish all Year 13 students well over the next few months and we look forward to celebrating their success in August.
