Sixth Form Destinations

We help our students make the best decisions about their next steps.

Careers and university are a key focus of our form time programme in Years 12 and 13, and students receive informed support from form tutors and in-school careers advisors on choosing their pathways and completing applications.

More than 90% of London Academy students choose to attend university, with more than 50% typically receiving offers from the leading Russell Group universities each year. An increasing number also explore high-quality degree apprenticeships, applying for schemes with leading companies in fields such as finance, consultancy, and engineering.

Students targeting Oxbridge and medicine/dentistry/law courses receive dedicated guidance and support, focused on preparation for the admissions tests and interviews. In 2022-23, three of our students successfully secured places – and are now studying – at Oxford or Cambridge.
