London Academy is an ambitious all-through Academy in North London, serving a multicultural and disadvantaged community. The Academy has been in the top 60 schools nationally in two of the last four years of published progress 8 scores. The Academy is on a mission to become the highest performing state school in London by August 2030. We prioritise students eligible for pupil premium funding in our Admissions Policy. The Opportunity
We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Principal. The successful candidate will be required to lead on key strategic issues within the Academy. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have had a significant impact on raising standards and student outcomes in their career.
The successful applicant will be expected to work alongside a Deputy Principal/Principal to:
- Quality assure teaching and learning within a Key Stage.
- Ensure quality and standards are consistent across the Academy.
- Develop strategies for raising attainment.
- Line manage a range of subject areas.
Further responsibilities will be discussed upon appointment subject to the successful candidates’ current role and experience.
