The Opportunity

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Principal. The successful candidate will be required to lead on key strategic issues within the Academy. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have had a significant impact on raising standards and student outcomes in their career.

The successful applicant will be expected to work alongside a Deputy Principal/Principal to:

• Quality assure teaching and learning within a Key Stage.
• Ensure quality and standards are consistent across the Academy.
• Develop strategies for raising attainment.
• Line manage a range of subject areas.

Further responsibilities will be discussed upon appointment subject to the successful candidates’ current role and experience.

ADVERT – Invigilator Jan 25London Academy is a richly diverse all through school educating over 1500 students within the age range 4 – 19.

Our Exam Invigilators support our experienced team in managing public and internal examinations. The role includes supervising students during exams, enforcing JCQ examination regulations, organising the examination venue(s), and handling related tasks.
You should have good communication and concentration skills and be able to be firm but understanding with students during this stressful time. You are expected to commit to the role, be able to work flexible hours and to work as part of a team. Previous invigilation experience would be helpful but not essential as training will be given.
You should be available during the main exam periods (May, June, and July) and the last two weeks of the Autumn Term and be able to start work from 8.30am and in most instances duties will finish by 3.30 pm.
